Quick Overview

This rustic carving of a deer mask is made from local yellow pine of the Sierra Madre Occidental . The mask will add a touch of rugged sophistication to any space. Each piece is individually carved using only simple hand tools.

The Tarahumara use their long distance running abilities (sometimes non-stop for days) to catch their prey such as deer. The animals eventually tire and slow down, and the Tarahumara get close enough to the animal to kill it.
